For those of you who've made Nightshade Manor--do tell:

Did you use any black shimmer paper, or did you stick with regular black cardstock?

Here, I used some black shimmer paper, and embossed it too, so when it catches the light, the sheen looks quite metallic.

It's a neat effect with this riveted texture.

This cute treat bag has so much personality. I love how it comes to life thanks to a few specific techniques:

1. textured cardstock - the extra-tactile look brings you right into the present moment

2. white gel pen - small white dots on the eyeballs look lifelike

3. inking - rubbing a soft black ink pad around the shapes' edges makes the whole thing more unique

4. pop dots - the shadow between the layers (like behind the teeth) makes it so much more than just a goodie bag

It’s just two pieces, a paper buckle, and a brad. But it’s oh so cute!

This stout little witch’s shoe looks adorable with some thin black satin ribbon trim.

It’s sure to delight, and I highly recommend rubbing a pale ink pad on it for a weathered look.

What kind of candy would you put inside?
