A little Fun Friday with AI! This creation feels fun and pretty accurate. I love that my cat has been included. ❤️

It’s almost the weekend! How are you spending it? Our family has a big event Saturday as my son graduates high school!! It’s exciting and emotional all at once. He’s my youngest and it’s hitting hard.

I just got these new rug samples in and they are really pretty.

Working with a designer means that they can find things that are not available to the general public and only to designers. Which in turn means the client gets items that are not in everyone’s home and are more unique to them.

One of my favorite parts of designing is finding items that I think my client will really love, are unique to them, and are just a little bit different. I always source products uniquely for every one of my clients. Rarely do I reuse the same product twice.

Add some fun in your home! Don’t be afraid to add color, fun, silly, or something that raises an eyebrow!

These are the items that spark great conversation, put a smile on your face, or give your guests a laugh. There should be items in your home that bring pure joy to you.

Don’t be basic! Be bold! This is your home and no one else’s. Have fun with it.

Choosing wallpaper for a client is so fun. The green florals are choices for the kitchen and the pinks are for her daughter’s room.

I’ll do some narrowing down and then let my client have final choice because it is ultimately their house. I want them to be excited and love what’s in their home for years to come.

Don’t be basic! Be bold! And these choices are fun and bold.

Raspberry!!! Raspberry was a HOT color trend this spring at High Point Market. And I LOVED IT!! I never really thought I’d be a raspberry person, but it was so fun. So happy, a little bit of a mood, and a great punch of color.

Color was everywhere and it was so great. I love the energy it brings. The personalization. And how my clients in Florida can really make their home their own.

One of my favorite things is lighting and spring High Point did not disappoint. There were so many amazing options.

From flush mounts to sconces to lamps to chandeliers, there really was an option for everyone’s taste. Lighting is definitely the jewelry for the room and absolutely can help set the mood or tone. It’s a great way to add a layering texture, add pattern on a ceiling, add atmosphere and be functional. It’s also easy to change out, so it’s non committal, so you can have fun with it.

Don’t be basic! Be bold! Choose fun lighting. Add some color to a space or something really conversational.
