I accompanied my mom, Elizabeth, to the IPPF Patient Education conference in Chicago recently. As you can see, Mom's doing very well! While there, we took a rug field trip to visit Lapchi at the Merchandise Mart. Thanks to Mary for hosting us and for filming.

Mom is back on the move now. Next stop: Cover Connect in New York.

On a recent trip to Chicago, we visited the Lapchi showroom at the Merchandise Mart. Lapchi was our very first contemporary line of rugs at Pride of Persia Rug Co., which means we worked with Lapchi even before Postmodern Traditions existed!

As I revisited many of the rug designs I've loved through the years, I also recalled the wonderful projects they have graced and thought of the dear people who have made my association with this company such a joy.

Thank you to Mary for hosting us! Mom and I had a lovely morning in the showroom.
