I am a married mom of an adult daughter who is in her first year of college and a furbaby Terrier mix named Roxy. I have been crafting since I was a little girl and I have been influenced by all of my grandmothers with their creativity. After losing my creative mojo for several years, I regained it back in 2008 when I started blogging about my DIY wedding ideas. On this blog, I will touch on diverse subjects such as Health, Beauty, Style, DIY projects and living creatively while going through the bumps along life's road. I love crafting and am an avid DIY'er but I wanted this website to be more than just a crafty, DIY blog. I will keep on including craft and DIY project but also include my thoughts, research and results on other topics including Type 2 Diabetes, Beauty and Style for those new to 50 like myself; and maintaining my sanity while running this site, working full-time and loving my family.
