New building, new hours, and a whole new chapter for Parsnippidy Junkin’Co! 🍂 Beginning Wednesday, September 9th, we’re adding another day to the week so you have even more time to come junkin’ with us! Our new hours at 11 W Main Street will be Wednesday–Saturday, 9–5, and Sunday, 12–5. More space, more vendors, more treasures, more days to shop—and probably a little more dust for us to sweep! We can hardly wait to welcome our Parsnippidy-ers through the doors of the old MFA Feedstore and officially begin this next adventure together. ❤️

There are some days in the life of a business—and a building—that deserve to be remembered. Today is one of those days.

Today marks Carter West’s final day at the helm of this charming old MFA Feedstore. At the end of a very long day, the keys to this beautiful, history-filled building will officially be handed over to us.

Carter West, we simply cannot thank you enough.

Thank you for trusting us with a place that you have poured so many hours, so much hard work, and so much of yourself into. Thank you for seeing something in Parsnippidy Junkin’Co that made you believe we could be the next caretakers of this wonderful old building.

We know today will be bittersweet. Throughout the day there will be boxes carried out, memories stirred up, familiar corners looked at a little longer, and probably a few quiet moments when the magnitude of closing one chapter and beginning another really sinks in.

We see that. We respect it. And we are incredibly grateful to be trusted with what comes next.

Thankfully, this isn’t goodbye. Carter will still be part of this old feedstore, with two spacious booths of his own, so we aren’t letting him wander too far!

But tonight, when those keys change hands, something very special happens.

One chapter of the old MFA Feedstore closes…and the Parsnippidy chapter officially begins.

Carter, from all of us at Parsnippidy Junkin’Co, thank you for the trust, the hard work, the long hours, the laughs, the memories, and most of all, for handing us the keys to a place we already love so very much.

We’ll take good care of her.
