🌺 Hibiscus Sweet Tea (2–3 Quarts)

Ingredients

• 2 hibiscus tea bags (or 2 tbsp dried hibiscus in a tea ball)

• 1 Lipton black tea bag

• 8 cups (2 quarts) water

• ¾ to 1 cup cane sugar (Southern sweet – adjust to taste)

• 2–4 cups cold water or ice (to reach 2–3 quarts total)

• Optional garnish: lemon slices, orange wedges, or fresh mint

⸻

Directions
1. Boil 8 cups of water in a large pot.

2. Steep: Remove from heat and add hibiscus and Lipton tea bags. Cover and steep for 10–12 minutes.

3. Sweeten: Remove bags. Stir in ¾–1 cup cane sugar while warm until dissolved.

4. Dilute & Chill: Pour into a large pitcher, add 2–4 cups cold water or ice to reach 2–3 quarts. Stir.

5. Serve over ice with lemon, orange, or mint.

⸻

🌿 Honey / Sugar-Free Version
• Replace sugar with ½–¾ cup honey (add while warm).
• Or use ½–¾ cup monk fruit, stevia, or erythritol.
• Steep slightly less (8–10 minutes) so the natural sweetness balances the tart hibiscus.

⸻

✨ Tip: This tea pairs beautifully with seafood boils, spicy dishes, or as a refreshing Sunday dinner
