Paramour Bungalow is a creative home accessories/decor shop that provides unique, handmade, and eclectic pieces to decorate every room in your household; whether you live in a small studio or a lakeside mansion. Our strong passion for housewares and interior design is connected to the ongoing practice of a decorating hobby that slowly turned into a thriving business. We love to consistently freshen up our own personal space; either by incorporating a small detail (new pillow) or by introducing a new risk (upholstering a chair w/daring fabric chosen by intuition instead of “rules”). We love to visit & get inspired by vintage bazaars, modern architecture, and yummy food! A home should reflect all of that as well – be colorful, visually stimulating, and give you a strong sense of comfort. We work with so many wonderful independent artists/vendors from all over our globe – from Australia to Austin, from Britain to Brooklyn, from Japan to Janesville, from South Africa to San Francisco. Well…you get the point:) We adore all the long distance relationships we’ve built with these amazingly talented people and it’s been a true pleasure to introduce their wares to you, our growing fans! Some have asked us…why a green heart in our logo? The green heart symbolizes harmony, health, abundance, and balance. It is the energy color represented in the heart chakra. All a perfect fit to represent building & maintaining a happy, successful home. Why would you visit Paramour Bungalow? We have everything that you don’t necessarily need, but definitely have to have! We look forward to seeing you soon. Paramour Bungalow was founded in June 2013 by David Kafer and Jason Hall. Paramour Bungalow spent 2 1/2 years at 812 Dempster St. in Evanston before moving to their current space within The Andersonville Galleria! Paramour Bungalow is the sister company to RED 7 SALON (http://www.red7salon.com), an award-winning, boutique hair salon company, also founded/owned by Kafer/Hall. Paramour Bungalow is the “lover of your home”.
