A Letter From Our Founder
A new chapter begins.
For some time, I have carried a vision for what Coppermill could become. It wasn’t something I wanted to force or rush. It has unfolded slowly and organically through more than a decade of creating, collecting, designing, learning and changing. Today, I finally feel ready to follow that vision. And it begins here.
Coppermill Kitchen is becoming Coppermill & Co.
This new name and mark represent much more to me than a new logo. It represents an evolution of the company I started all those years ago and, in many ways, a return to its roots.
When I began, it was from a love of beautiful old things. Objects with history, made with intention and meant to endure. I loved the idea of pieces passing through hands, homes, families and generations. That feeling was the beginning of everything.
Over the years, as the business grew, I began to realize that my vision for Coppermill was bigger than a kitchen. I kept feeling a pull back toward what inspired me in the first place: beauty, history, craftsmanship, story and heirlooms. Coppermill & Co. gives me the space to follow that inspiration wherever it leads.
This chapter also comes after one of the most difficult years I have experienced as a business owner. Last year’s tariffs fundamentally changed the way I had been operating and forced me to make difficult decisions about what came next. But we are here. Coppermill is here. And I am still here.
Rather than simply rebuilding what was, I have chosen to build what I believe comes next. I’m returning to my instincts, to what I love and to the reason I began while allowing Coppermill to become something new.
To every person who has purchased a piece, followed our story, carried us in your shop, shared our work or simply continued to be here thank you. There is so much I cannot wait to share with you in the months ahead. New collections, new offerings and some very special things I have been quietly dreaming about and working toward.
Welcome to Coppermill & Co. This is only the beginning.
With gratitude,
Beth Ann
