Stone Pony Pottery Stone Pony Pottery creates unique handmade pieces that complement any home decor I hope that you’ll use my pottery and enjoy it! Enjoy! Sue Zimmer, Owner & Potter

Several years ago my New Year’s Resolution was to learn to bake bread from scratch, and after a few failed attempts to work with dough, I discovered clay. Drawing from my high school and college art classes, the focus of my resolution changed from baking to making — Stone Pony Pottery was born. Living in a rural setting and being an outdoor enthusiast inspire me to incorporate bits of nature into my designs. You’ll find that many of my pieces are organic, irregular in shape and size, and intentionally rustic and one-of-a-kind. I love to make functional art that is both beautiful and durable enough for everyday use and I am drawn to clay as a medium because it connects me to the earth. Stone Pony Pottery is microwave, dishwasher, oven and food safe.

Today someone asked what my Project 15.15 is, and I realized that my newer fans & followers might not know. At the beginning of 2026, I was feeling creative and decided to design some unique & artsy pottery, and release just 15 of each (limited edition), signed & numbered pieces on the 15th of each month. I enclose a story card that describes my inspiration behind the piece, and it doubles as a certificate of authenticity. This project has been a blast! I’ve collaborated with family & friends, I’ve developed new skills & techniques, and I’ve enjoyed amping up my creativity! Today I am working on the November edition while wondering what kind of spin I can put on this project in 2027! Ideas, anyone? Should I call it quits? Keep it up? Change it somehow?

PM me for details!

****update****these are sold out**** I had so much fun making the October edition of Project 15.15, and here it is! I started with a little bowl that’s reminiscent of those bright orange plastic pumpkins we carried for trick or treating, and I made some unique little surprises for each one. Each pumpkin will come with some nostalgic sweets, and a hand-made pottery trinket or two (no two are the same)! No tricks, just festive Halloween fun!

I’ve made just 15 of these, of course, all signed and numbered, and shipping with a story card. Limited editions, designed for collectors. When they’re gone, they’re gone!

Thank you for your support of my Project 15.15!
