All Things Patti Home Decor, Gifts and Apparel I’ve always loved creating “different” gifts. I started making a few items for my own home and then for friends for their homes.

It’s fun for me to start with a simple piece of glass, resin or wood and turn it into a piece of art. All of my home essential pieces are unique, different in size, color tones, jewels, chains, etc. I love to create and design pieces based on my client’s taste. Thank you for visiting. If I can help you in anyway, please feel free to contact me. Patti
XOXO

STEP-BY-STEP VIDEO

Friends, the STEP-BY-STEP VIDEO for my FULL(er) Christmas Wreath is here! I had so much fun giving this wreath a little extra fullness and character. While I used two pieces of watercolor paper for my design, you can absolutely recreate this look with just one. Looking back, I think I’d add one more layer of greenery to make it even fuller! Now I want to hear from you! Would you add that extra layer of greenery, or do you love it just the way it is? Let me know in the comments!

Our Christmas Wreath stencil already has so much character, but I wanted to take it in a completely different direction! I decided to leave off the ornaments and let the greenery and added berries take center stage. Distressed watercolor paper, deep evergreen branches, and little red berries come together beautifully, especially with a coffee-stained spritz to give the paper that warm, vintage feel. I layered the design three times, but now that I see the finished piece, I’m thinking one more layer might give it an even fuller, more lush look. Now I’m wondering . . . should I brew up another version in a completely different color palette? What colors would YOU love to see? I’d love to hear your ideas! STEP-BY-STEP VIDEO COMING SOON, so you can follow along and create one of your own!

Friends, I’ve had an idea "brewing" for this wreath, and I’m keeping my fingers crossed that it turns out just as I’m envisioning! I’ve always felt it needed just a little something extra, and I think I may have found the perfect way to bring it to life. And yes, coffee included! Now, I just need to come up with a color palette. Suggestions???

Look how handsome he turned out! This warm, vintage-inspired design has that perfectly aged, chippy character (achieved by using instant coffee and baking soda). These base rounds come in packs of three, all different sizes. I used the 13” round for the larger background and found a 6” round for the inner circle. Although I used our Angled Stripes Pattern for my design, I’ve added our new Textured Striped Pattern to the CARTLINK. This was the pattern I originally planned to use, but my order is still lost somewhere in USPS land! I’ve now used our Etched Santa for eight different projects, and I’m still finding new ways to make him shine! A step-by-step video will be coming soon.

Comment CAMP for stencil/surface link.
Celebrating Cooper’s FIRST birthday was just as easy as it was fun! This happy little boy was the perfect inspiration for a Camp Cooper adventure! And, of course, Chalk Couture helped bring the entire theme to life! From the adorable Camping, Woodland Animals, Birthday, and Numerical Stencils to the Pennant Banners and surfaces used to create the flags, bases, and signs, it made pulling all the details together a breeze! A whole lot of love, a little creativity, and one very special little guy made this birthday celebration one to remember!

Who knew a brassy plastic gold frame from DT could become such a gorgeous holiday home decor piece?! I started by painting the frame giving it that soft, velvety finish by adding baking soda. Then I added a few Black Velvet paste highlights to bring out the ornate details and give it a stronger vintage flair. For the artwork, I painted the background black and brought the design to life using Vanilla, Nominee Gold, Greens, and Cabernet. And, of course, I couldn’t resist adding a little Nominee Gold flocking for that extra touch of shimmer and magic! A step-by-step video is coming soon, so be sure to check back!

Good Morning!
While I’m finishing up the makeover of that overly gilded, brassy plastic DT frame, I had to share a few photos of Campbell (with a little help from Cooper!) working on a family-themed GHOSTY project this weekend! Campbell was SO proud of his creations that he’s already dreaming up his next project . . . a BAT FAMILY! There’s just something magical about seeing the world through a three-year-old’s eyes. Their imaginations, their excitement, and the pride they take in creating something all their own make these moments extra special.
