Hi friends. I’ve known in my heart, my gut and the bags under my eyes this day was coming for awhile now but nonetheless it hasn’t been an easy decision. Originally we started this year with plans to stop taking custom orders and keep the small shop open, but as January came and went and I just couldn’t find the time for making inventory, I knew that wasn’t a realistic plan either. My pride wanted to push through the busy and make it happen, but I know I don’t have time in this season of life to make our little shop what I dream of it being. What once seemed hard now seems impossible. With a new baby girl arriving so soon, our oldest becoming school age and our 2 younger boys who need us too we have reached a new level of “busy.” It was time and we officially closed up our little part of the 3 shops this month
Thank you so much to everyone who has ordered with us and shopped with us or just encouraged us over the last 5 years. I started this little adventure as a passion project to help me mentally and some financially stay home with my boys and you made that and more happen. That may have been the sole purpose of this chapter. Im not sure just yet. We have some personal projects and adventures ahead of us and some big dreams for what our future business adventure may be, so my heart and my gut also tell me this is just one chapter closed with another to be written and when we start writing you will be the first to know.
I also have to give a huge thank you to Heather and the girls at Fashions In Flowers for sharing their shop space with us the last 3 years. I learned so much from them and they truly gave me the best opportunity to see successful small town business operate. From already knowing what you like when your husband calls in an order for flowers to helping you with all of life’s celebrations, happy and sad. I can’t explain how they do it. I just know that when I got to work with them I felt like I was in a movie about how small business used to be done and we are so lucky to still have that in this town. Truly like if there was a flower shop in Virgin River. That’s how I felt 🥰😉 They know what you need when you don’t. They know you personally and their work and the way they care for their customers shows it. I am a forever fan.
