Dear North Dorchester Middle School Families,
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to share some exciting news regarding our school community. We are pleased to announce the addition of a School Resource Officer (SRO), Deputy First Class LaMonica, who will be joining us this school year.
Deputy First Class LaMonica comes to us with 10 years of experience with the Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office, previously serving as the SRO at Maces Lane Middle School. Her commitment to fostering a safe and supportive environment for our students is evident, and we are confident that she will be a valuable asset to our school.
The role of the SRO is to enhance the safety and security of our school while also serving as a positive role model and mentor for our students. Deputy First Class LaMonica will be actively involved in our school community, participating in various activities, and building relationships with students, staff and families. We believe that the addition of Deputy First Class LaMonica will also provide our students with an additional trusted adult they can turn to for guidance and support.
