In just 10 DAYS, I’ll be celebrating 10 YEARS of NyRai Interior Designs! 🥂🎉

Ten long years of designing homes, changing lives, building relationships, overcoming challenges, and turning a vision into something far greater than I could have ever imagined.

My heart is FULL! ❤️

To everyone who has been a part of this journey, and especially those who will be celebrating this incredible milestone with me, THANK YOU! Your love, support, and presence mean more than words could ever express.

When I say we’re Changing Lives & Homes, I mean that.

This master bedroom transformation was special to me for reasons that go far beyond beautiful furniture, statement walls, and luxurious finishes.

I wanted to create a space that felt like an escape from the world. A place to exhale, find peace, feel beautiful, and simply BE.

We brought the drama with bold black accents, softened it with blush tones, layered luxurious textures, and added those signature details that make a space unforgettable.

But here’s what I know after nearly 10 years in this industry…

A beautifully designed room can change how you live, but a thoughtfully designed room can change how you FEEL. 💕

And THAT is the part of interior design that will always mean the most to me.

What if you just went for everything you deserved instead of compromising?

I was talking to a good friend of mine and she reminded me that the only reason people don’t get what they want is because they don’t believe they deserve it! 🤔

What if the only thing holding you back from your next dream was you actually believing you were worthy of it? I used to be fearful when I branched out from event planning to interior design!

My advice to you is just go for it!

For me, influence has never been about simply being seen. It’s about using my platform to inspire, educate, create impact, and change the way people experience design. From transforming homes and commercial spaces to mentoring emerging creatives and sharing the real journey behind entrepreneurship, I’ve always believed that what we do should reach far beyond a beautiful room.

To be recognized among such talented designers for the voice and presence I’ve built within this industry is truly humbling.

Taking it back to the release celebration for my very first film in South Africa as a Production Designer. An experience that stretched me, challenged me, and opened the door to an entirely new chapter in my creative journey.

There’s something special about looking back at the moments when you said YES to something you had never done before… and realizing that one opportunity helped you discover another part of who you were meant to become.

From interior design to film sets, I’ve learned that creativity has no limits AND neither should we.

Sometimes the assignment is bigger than the title you started with. Keep evolving. Keep saying yes. Keep walking through the doors God opens.

What a celebration. What a milestone. And what a beautiful reminder of how far I’ve come.
