The holidays are coming! Antique, early 19th century American 2 pedestal mahogany dining table with a single 25" wide leaf. Most of us see the common "Duncan Phyfe" style dining tables from the 1940's and 1950's this one is 1820's 1830's. Yes it shows some wear and tear from 200 years of use but its still a good useable table made of really nice mahogany 51" wide by 54" closed and 51" by 79" with the leaf in place. $450.00

Shop will be open this coming SAturday September 5th, 10-5. It will be more disorganized that day because I will also be loading for Brimfield at that time. What use to take a few hours now takes me a couple of days! I'm old now! Quite a bit has come in and some has gone this month so heres a couple of items. I countryish Empire secretary with nice flame mahogany veneer. What is unusual is the carved lion heads? maybe Bear heads on the ends of the lopers. The things that support the writing surface. I like the fitted interior on the bottom of the bookcase. $295.00

a couple of interesting mirrors, a miniature Empire shaving or dressing mirror notice the bottle of water for scale! The other is a very hard to find 2 part Federal mirror in beautiful tiger maple! Normally these are always mahogany!!!
