Today, I installed a mantel that I had been working on for a while and finally completed last week. This piece is constructed from 100+ year old barn lumber, with corbels crafted from the same stock as the beam. The finish features General Finishes Candelight stain, topped with four coats of their Top Coat. The wall will be finished with a stone tile to complete the look.
