Not long after creating my all-purpose cleaner, I found myself standing in that same kitchen in North Hollywood, asking another question:
Why was it so hard to find a hand soap that actually matched what the label promised?
So many products said “natural.” But when I started reading ingredient panels, I kept finding ingredients like SLS and other additives hiding behind marketing language that felt cleaner than the formulas themselves.
I wanted something different.
Something gentle enough to use over and over throughout the day. Something I could feel good about keeping beside my sink at home and using every day in my pet store.
So once again, it became trial and error. Formula after formula. Adjustment after adjustment.
Eventually I created something that felt true to what Addy & Gar stood for.
And now that same commitment continues with Kind Goods.
Because what we bring into our homes and what we use every day should feel as good as it looks.
