We've all been there: the half-finished quilt, the abandoned Etsy shop, the side project that felt urgent three months ago but now sits in a folder.

Here's what we know-those unfinished projects aren't failures. They're proof you're thinking bigger than your timeline.

Three quilting mistakes we see all the time? They're actually universal creative struggles:

Perfectionism kills momentum. Quilters often abandon pieces because one seam isn't perfect. Marketers do the same with campaigns. Builders stall launches waiting for the "right moment."

Persistence isn't linear. A quilt picked up six months later turns out better than expected. Your side project will too-when you come back to it, you're bringing fresh perspective.

Time estimation is hard. Every maker underestimates how long something takes. That's not a personal flaw. It's a sign you're ambitious.

Top is machine appliquéd down….now to do the back and add the zipper! Used the panel Stomp Stomp Roar, Sulky invisible thread on top and Aurifil Dove in the bobbin.
