I'm now contributing to a new on-line magazine called "Amazine." It's an excellent opportunity for all artists to discuss & promote their work through this new "social media." Unlike most of the current social media I've encountered, it doesn't seem dumbed down and without a shred of integrity. There has obviously been some thought put into it other than how much their ad revenue will generate. It's also absent a platform for the rampant digital brutality we see inflicted upon one another, encouraged by low self-esteem garnered through a lack of real world life experiences & internet anonymity. This is a truly refreshing site to have come across.

Happy Friday!!! I came up with this new industrial (WWII Aircraft inspired) coffee table this week. It's height adjustable & I made a few of them. It features a 16 gauge steel top and the few made up haven't been finished - meaning you can have them patina'd anyway you'd like. I'm going to sell them on sale this weekend.

The Studio has gone black for the weekend as we learned of the passing of one of our earliest supporters, Arthur Ramer. Tragically taken from us in a truly senseless automobile accident; Arthur was an individual who didn't march to the beat a different drum, he sashayed with the swagger of of a feral Brooklyn alley cat and Jim Morrison with a Sobieski jazz beat that was audible only to him. His radiant charm was immense and outshone his beloved wife's multitude of porcelain Salvation Army Art lamps that illuminated their bistro of epicurean & Bacchanalian delight. In their decade plus stay in that store I doubt they had to pay a power bill. I truly believe Arthur's magnificent charm could power the block.

-Lastly, it's not his passing that berieves me; It's the method. This was a man who deserved to exit the world with as much gusto as he strode through it with. Possible fates I could have seen for Arthur would have been; being eaten whole by a lion on stage in Vegas after climbing onto said stage uninvited and spanking the lions arse.
Somehow falling into a volcano while trying to save a virgin sacrifice. -Something like that...
I mourn your loss but am glad for the time to have spent with you. You were truly, truly a gentleman.
My heart goes out to your beautiful wife and wonderful son and all those affected by your loss.

I'll be in the studio on Tuesday most of the day.

Stop by for coffee and to take a look around. I still have a lot of lighting and furniture from the past few years. I don't want to ship this but if any of my out of town clients are serious, let me know and I'll have one of my guys stop packing the studio and start packing furniture and lighting. Lets REHOME this stuff!!!

I'm back in the studio today, finishing up orders, packing for the move, and most importantly SELLING ALL MY BACK STOCK!!! Conservatively I have enough here to furnish a house and get you in any design publication. I have enough orders to ship - that I DON'T WANNA PACK & SHIP THIS STUFF!!! I have pieces here that have never been photographed or seen outside of The Studio. UPDATE

I'LL BE HERE AT THE STUDIO FOR THE NEXT FEW DAYS SORTING, CLEANING AND PACKING. As well as working on current orders. Get in touch with me to stop on by and look at the tremendous amount of furniture and lighting that has accumulated over the years. I even have some tools and fixtures for sale since we've upgraded and changed things around.
