Well I haven’t posted in a while..with the holidays and my health all over the place, it’s been difficult to get going most days. But..I finished this piece for a friend of mine of her beautiful fur babies! 🐶🐱Got a few ideas in my head for some up coming pieces…I’ll keep your posted! 👩🏼‍🎨🎨💜

So for the last few years I have hosted my family for Christmas Eve and I try to do some kind of ornament thing. One year I crocheted them, we have done an exchange, this year I found these little nutcrackers. They still need some finishing touches, but they are almost done. While I was shopping and saw the little nutcrackers, I saw this 2ft nutcracker, and my ADHD went “dopamine!” Now I’m trying to stay on task and finish it…I have so many more canvas paintings in my head…just got to get my nutcracker army completed first! 🎄🌰🥜🎅🏻🎨🤪

So I found out this morning that my painting “Chaos in the Hive” was selected as a finalist in the Fairfield Suisun Visual Arts Association juried art competition! I’m so excited…my art work is gonna be hung in a gallery…how cool is that?!?! I’m my own worst critic, always been afraid to do something like this..but I’m glad I did! 💛🖤🐝🎨
