I became very creative during the Covid Pandemic/shutdown and began using art to fill my time. I enjoy working with Copper wire and Leather and continue to learn as I go.

Customer had a well-worn work belt that needed repair and needed more length. The belt buckle was not the original but he wished to use it.
I cleaned the belt using Saddle soap. I conditioned it then used resolene. Color matching was a bit of a challenge but I think I succeeded. To lengthen, I simply made a longer belt buckle loop.

We,as Leather craftsmen, know how sharp our tools are. My son was using this knife while designing a aqua-terrarium. Well, it fell. It fell into his leg. It went 2.5" into his leg! It was like a spear. 5 stitches and not other damage,thank God.
