REST IN PEACE 💔 The Kansas Highway Patrol says 62-year-old Diane Lister was killed when a driver fleeing from Geary County deputies crashed into her SUV.

"Diane was a wonder lady with a true servants heart," Keep It Simple Quilting, Notions & Fabric said. "She not only was the owner of Lucky Charm quilt shop in Chapman, Kansas but a true friend to all."

Roger has a huge smile on his face opening his new APQS Ellie. He says he bought the Ellie because she has the same quality as her big sisters and within one year of purchase they allow a 100% trade-in trade-up offer. He wants to see if longarming is something he enjoys and wants to continue. Then in a few months he can get 100% of what he paid to move up. If he is happy with Ellie he can also easily add the computer to make his quilting easier and more precise. Thank you, Roger for choosing APQS. I know you will be very happy.

2nd Saturday Sew Kind of Wonderful sewing days starting in November. Let’s gather and inspire each other making curves fun. $10/day under the direction of either Heather or Morgan. Both are Certified Instructors. Work on any SKOW pattern knowing there is help available if you need it.
And then…..Oh my gosh! A finished quilt top from last week’s mini QCR ruler class showed up this afternoon. Andrea came in to get extra fabric to make it larger!

We are making progress! Julie came in to show us her Fox from the last class. Proud of you, Julie. It’s beautiful. I can tell everyone is enjoying this class because we all got right to work this morning. Anxious to see some progress on these Legit Kits. These certainly are masterpiece quilts and we need to enjoy the process. They are not quick but well worth the effort.
You can tell when there’s a good class - We had several who drove some miles to get here - Abiline, Wichita, Omaha, Topeka, Rossville and 2 from Nashville!!
Next class May 14 & 15.
$140 for new attendees and $50 for returning class members.

Under the expert direction of Mary Ellen, we learned the organization techniques to make it possible to create these 2000+ piece masterpieces. Day 2 will bring a lot of sewing so I know I will have some great photos to show you by tonight. Please stop in to see a beautiful art show!
