Hello and welcome!! My name is Allison and I am a college student at Valparaiso University. I have always had a passion for creating things. I enjoy taking random items and putting them together to make something original and memorable. I also am a very social person, I love meeting new people and making connections. In addition to that, I have a strong faith and love spreading God's word. With those things combined I had the idea of starting a business. The idea of Risen came to me recently in the midst of some difficult situations I was dealing with. I pictured this word in the concept that God is a redeeming God, he is a reviving God. God has the power to pull you out of your dark circumstances and hardships. If he can rise from the grave then he can rise anyone out of their darkness. I wanted this page to be more than me trying to sell things but to be encouragement, kindness, acceptance, and love spread to all people. Especially in this difficult world we live in, I wanted to bring some more light to it!
I recently have gotten into making jewelry like earrings, necklaces, bracelets and even keychains. I also really enjoy pour painting and painting various objects and making it unique. I wanted to make a way to be able to spread my hobby and passion to friends, family, and strangers! This is a community of love and kindness, these items are all handmade with care and devotion. This is only the beginning, the items I will post for sale are just the start of many more to come. I have affordable prices and am willing to meet with people to give you your purchased item, and if that doesn't work I can send it to you in the mail! My email is attached on the page and anyone can message me on facebook for any other questions or concerns. I really hope this picks up, I have wanted to do something like this for years and finally came around to it. I really do believe that God brought this opportunity to me now and I hope that the items I make bring you and your loved ones as much joy as they bring me. Thank you so much and I pray you all have a blessed weekend!
