I took the wire shelves out. The painters patched the walls and painted them white. Then I bought all the tools, wood, and paint, and have been figuring out how to build the shelves on the right! Just need to caulk, do a little sanding and paint, and they’re done! Pretty good for a first timer!

Trying a LOT of new things today! Didn’t say I’d pass all safety precautions 😬, but getting it done!

I may post a short video once it’s all done if I have enough content.

Long story short, I tore out all the wired shelving in every closet because I wanted more sturdy, solid shelving.

Our painters patched and painted the closets so all I had to do was buy the equipment and supplies to build the shelving - which I’ve never done before. Ha!

Promise, I thought about contacting someone who actually knows what they’re doing (to teach me & keep me safe), but of course I had to try to figure it out on my own. Which is really hard, but also very rewarding. 

Picking out a table saw, then the appropriate wood (modeling a guy’s method off YT), assembling the table saw, & cutting the wood without being scared to death were HUGE steps for me…but all things I’ve wanted to learn & again it feels really good to accomplish projects like this! 😊

So stick around, I’ll keep you posted how it goes. ❤️
