Some of our customers become friends! We love getting to know all of you, and seeing how Ben’s work fits into your life. We get to celebrate your milestones and commemorate your losses. We make your lives easier with cutting boards and phone holders, and we make your homes beautiful with ornaments and wall hangings. It’s hard not to get close to some of you after all that!!

Ben’s crosses are a fan favorite! So much that a few years ago, a customer asked for a GIANT version! Good thing math is Ben’s forte, so getting the proportions was easy. It makes his original crosses look so dinky, but in reality, they’re just the perfect size for that one space on your wall. 😉

We offer the crosses with walnut (brown) or padauk (red) wood inlays. Let us know which one you’re most interested in!

We’re okay over here, folks! We were out of power for 2.5 days, but thankfully the basement stayed dry, and the shop survived! Most of you know Ben works out of our basement, so things could have gotten hairy pretty fast for BKWW. We praise God for his protection!

It was BEARY fun making this custom-shaped board for a patron! She told us that her family had one just like it for years, but it was on its way out. Ben was able to take a tracing and make a fresh new copy so the tradition can carry on!

Ben isn’t letting a few drizzle stop the good times at the Valparaiso Market today! It looks like the worst of the rain is holding off until later today, so grab an umbrella and go visit some of the awesome vendors at Central Park Plaza!
