For starters, we usually never recommended duravana. In fact, this customer actually changed up their original choice from LVP to duravana.
Many installers would complain about this stuff because it would chip the edges of the board when we would tap it in. Which is the same reason I never recommended it to anyone.
Duravana has been listening to these complaints and came out with a specialized tapping block that installers can now use to fit the flooring together without damaging the edges. Any business that listens to its customers and installers and can rectify mistakes, is ok in our book.
Needless to say, this is the best experience I’ve had with Duravana and will no longer try to steer people clear of it, if this is the flooring someone desires.
