It's been a hot minute since I have posted. Life happens, family happens, and being a one woman show....there is only so much you can do at a time.
February and March found me juggling a lot of emotions with things going on with family and personal struggles. I had to step back and prioritize things, put other things on the back burner, and just be for a while.
I think as humans and makers, we have to stop and give ourselves some grace... let things go and tell ourselves it's okay to slow down and heal from whatever life has thrown our way.
At the beginning of April, I was able to take a break away from the studio and life and connect with others at a maker retreat. Boy, did my soul need that! Gave myself a reset, fresh outlook, and a mind full of inspiration and courage to make some more jumps.
I've been back at the laser this week and pulling out new designs, and going live with my group each morning. A goal I had on my list for a while. Sometimes this business gets loney when we are busy doing all the things. It's been a much needed week of connections and conversational with my people. My group of people are awesome, and they are my people.
