Why does a low voltage company handle lighting design?
It is a fair question, and we get it often.
Lighting used to be simple. An incandescent bulb, a dimmer, and behavior you could predict. Then LEDs arrived and brought flicker, bad dimming, mismatched color temperatures and control problems that traditional construction teams were never trained to solve. Homeowners were left with lighting they did not like and nobody to call.
Somewhere in there, lighting stopped being a fixture and became a technology product. We have spent years on smart controls and low voltage systems, so owning the full lighting design, engineering and control process was a natural step rather than a stretch. Our team carries certification through the American Lighting Association.

Most lighting problems in a custom home aren't lighting problems. They're handoff problems.
The designer specs the plan. Someone else supplies the fixtures. The electrician wires it. An integrator programs the controls. Everyone does their part well — and the gaps between them become change orders, missed dimming curves, and a keypad in the wrong place.

Our documents give your electrician a fixture schedule, a load schedule, and a control schedule to build from instead of assumptions.
We're a low-voltage integration company, so the control system is engineered from the first meeting rather than bolted on at the end. We're manufacturer-authorized to sell, install, and service intelligent lighting systems.
Then we stay. When something needs adjusting in year three, you call the firm that designed it.
