Everybody has a friend with a remodel horror story. Decisions pile up, the timeline slips, and somebody ends up staring at tile for three weeks. 😅

When I designed my own house, I wanted a streamlined, efficient process that took me from “decisions, decisions, decisions” to DONE. Our whole process is built around that.

Here’s the short version: we make every selection before your project kicks off, three options at a time, right in your home. Your contractor starts with all the answers, and you spend about 15 hours of your own time instead of hundreds. Remodels still have surprises, and I won’t pretend otherwise. What I can do is make sure regret isn’t one of them.

You don't need to have it all figured out before we talk. You don't need to apologize for your budget, your timeline, or the fact that life is happening around you. You just need to be honest about what's working, what isn't, and what you're hoping will feel different once this project is done.

The people I work best with don't need their designer to look like they walked off a magazine shoot. They need someone who gets that real life is messy, that good design supports how you actually live, and that you shouldn't have to put on a show for your ideas to be taken seriously.

If you’re thinking about a bathroom remodel, whether it’s this year or down the road, here’s what I’d keep in mind:

Design for how you want to feel, not just how you want it to photograph.

✅Ask yourself:

✍🏼Does this material feel good to touch?

💓Will this layout still work for me in 10 or 15 years?

✨Does this space calm me down, or add friction to my day?

The best bathrooms are timeless because they’re thoughtful.

On average my clients spend about 15 hours total on decisions across their entire project. I bring the options to them, already filtered for their lifestyle and budget, and we work through it together in their own home. No showroom marathons. No pressure to have it all figured out beforehand.
