Spring is about to spring and maybe you hadn’t realized until this very moment how lovely it would be to have a ginger cat on your table top.

Contrary to conventional wisdom, this pretty fella isn’t going to scratch and bite ya. Instead he’ll hold whatever YOU are going to bite.

All ceramic, this tea cake stand design sprang from my love of orange. And my love of cats. And my love of orange cats. Each plate was hand drilled by me personally and comes with 1. a sturdy storage box adorned with a photo of said tea cake stand, 2. quality cake stand hardware, and 3. a little tiny screwdriver in case you are like me and can’t find yours.

I’m hoping that you will love owning your tea cake stand as much as I did dreaming it up, and that it will bring you joy for years to come.

Much love went into its design, and much postage will be required to be paid by you. Well, really only $31.50, which is what USPS charges. I’ll eat the packing materials, so to speak. I’m not a cat you know. A cat would eat the packing materials literally.

If you are local to Vancouver, Washington and prefer to come by and pick it up, that is acceptable as well.

It began with my love of ceramics. I reveled in the artistry, creativity and beauty of plates, cups, creamers and teapots. I always felt a sense of duty when I saw a lone plate, sitting on a shelf, wondering what its fate would be. I had seen people who made teacake stands, but usually they would use the same pattern for all three layers. I dreamed of collecting plates, matching them up to some unique design, drilling the holes, and making something beautiful.

For two years I searched the internet finding the most beautiful, the most unique ceramics, before finally deciding it was time to act. I bought my ceramics online, and they consist of both new, vintage and antique pieces.
