The frost is coming and the dahlias are tired! I picked all the nicest blooms and will be gifting these to some amazing people this week!!
Soon, it’ll be time to dig and store the tubers for the winter! 😢

These beauties will be going to Homecoming tonight! I hope the young ladies that carry them have an incredible time!!

Here are some of the larger dahlias that are currently blooming. Names of each variety are in the caption of the photo.
Although beautiful to look at, they do not work well in arrangements due to their size and short vase life!
I’ll still grow them because they’re gorgeous! You can grow them also!! I’ll have tubers for sale in the spring!!!

This dahlia is called Hollyhill Serenity. She has the classic waterlily form and is so cute floating on top of the water! Her bloom wasn’t nice enough for an arrangement so she’s hanging out with me!
I hope the plant makes lots of tubers because I want many more of her for next year!
