Meet the team | Missi Youngblood, Principal Designer & CEO
If you’ve ever worked with our team, you already know the heart behind Missi & Co starts with our founder, Missi Youngblood. Missi grew up on job sites alongside her father, who built and renovated many homes. After more than 35 years in the industry, she still approaches every project with the same curiosity, problem-solving mindset, and passion for creating homes that truly work for the people living in them. What makes her leadership so special to our team is that it has never just been about beautiful homes. It’s about building people, too.
Missi has created a studio culture where women are encouraged to grow, speak up, learn the construction side of design, trust their instincts, and become confident leaders in this industry. She is constantly teaching, mentoring, pushing creativity further, and reminding our team that good design comes from understanding people first.
She leads with experience, honesty, sometimes a little tough love, and a whole lot of heart, and we are all better because of it. Her approach to design relaxed luxury homes has become a defining part of Missi & Co., Homes that feel elevated, layered, and deeply livable at the same time.

EXCITING NEWS! We're expanding to double the size of our Nokomis, FL studio space to bring you even more luxury and style! We love being able to sit around a big island with our clients and collaborate to bring their vision to life. When it's not rushed, design is a really enjoyable and fun process. January - May is our heavy lifting timeframe for design in Florida so if you're thinking about a renovation or new construction project starting anytime the first 6 months of 2027, now is the time to reach out and chat about getting on our calendar. One of the things we hear often is that client's worried they would lose their own style when working with a designer. The truth is we don’t have a signature style … we honor yours.
