I try my best to save antique furniture. If it’s not damaged, I won’t bother painting or refinishing unless asked to.

One thing about Mahogany furniture…it bleeds. If you don’t prime it with the right primer, the tannins will seep through your paint and ruin your hard work.

I used Dixie Belle’s Boss Primer first, then Silk Paint which has a built in primer and top coat. This combo works for me.
