Unbelievably grateful.!!
October 12th 1987. I officially filed a fictitious business name. Magnum Enterprises... Starting my cleaning business, 37 years ago today, WOW! I am now in the final months of transferring ownership of that business, Magnum Power Clean, LLC to Alex Flandez, former employee, Partner, soon to be Sole Owner. More on Alex in a post to follow.
Nearly 4 decades of hard work and honest service. During that time, I have had the privilege to serve many thousands of homes and businesses throughout Ventura/LA County. Also, employing nearly a thousand people. I am extremely grateful for all of the customers and employees that I've had along the way. Grateful is an understatement.
My interaction with both customers and employee's has been very rewarding and challenging at times. This wonderful business has supported me and my whole family of six, as our sole income for most of the 37 years. I want to thank my wife Lisa for putting up with my whining during those times when I was stressed out of my mind or having to change plans because business would get in the way. It ain't easy, but nothing good is.
From the bottom of my heart I want to thank all of my customers for your support and loyalty throughout the years. And to all the people who have work hard for me, Thank You! My company was only as strong as my staff. I consider many of you good friends, and even like family in some cases. So many individuals come to mind. I have been blessed.
NO, I AM NOT RETIRING; I have been owner/operator of another business for many years now, and I am continuing to work on and grow that business.
I will continue to work with Alex Flandez from time to time. I look forward to seeing where he takes this company from here.
