AUGUST PROJECT OF THE MONTH

OPPOSITE VIEWS COWL

Sample is knit with
Art Yarns Super Merino Worsted Weight
Opposite Views Cowl is a two-color cowl knitted flat on the bias and then sewn using the Kitchener stitch. The pattern alternates garter stitch and mosaic sections which are exactly the same but with the colors used in the opposite order, making them mirror images of each other. The mosaic is easy but never boring to execute, making the cowl a relaxing but also fun knit.

The cowl is totally adjustable both in length and in width (resizing instructions are provided).

US 9 - 5.5 mm

Made top down with Berroco Summer Sesame. An easy knit fits size 32 to 68.5 bust.
Knit with 2 to 5 skeins.

Summer Sesame is a colorful self-striping yarn with a subtle sheen. The fibers take the dye differently, producing a marbled effect. Worsted weight Sesame is machine-washable, making it a great choice for sweaters and projects that will be washed often.
