We saw this antique Tabriz rug at High Point and honestly, it stopped us in our tracks.

Circa 1860s and still absolutely stunning. The artistry, the detail, the colors... the fact that something hand-knotted over 160 years ago is still telling a story is incredible.

This rug was finished with a serged edge, which gives it a cleaner, more tailored look while letting the pattern remain the focus. We especially love how the design flows right to the edge instead of being interrupted by a heavier border.

Not every rug needs to be the star of the show. Sometimes, the texture is the whole point. We love how this subtle mermaid sisal grounds the room while still letting all the other details shine.

Guys… listen up! Forget flowers.
Install her a designer closet floor while she’s out of town. That’s exactly what this customer did for his wife for her birthday.

This project used patterned hardwood tiles from and honestly… this may have ruined normal closets for the rest of us.

Inspired by hand-painted artwork and finished for real life durability, these floors are one of those products people stop mid-sentence to stare at.

Apparently my version of a “summer night out” is staying at the showroom until 10:30 PM rearranging rugs, moving furniture, and deciding whether an orange ottoman is genius or a cry for help.

We found this incredible handmade Kilim Suzani rug at High Point Market and I was immediately obsessed. The word Suzani comes from the Persian word suzan, meaning “needle,” which makes sense once you see the beautiful hand-embroidered detailing and artistry throughout the piece.

The colors. The texture. The craftsmanship. It’s the kind of rug that doesn’t just finish a room — it becomes the room.

So yes… another rug followed me home. And honestly? I regret nothing.

We’re a little late posting… but for a very good reason.

Last week was our first trip to High Point Market and wow. Just wow!
We walked, we learned, we sourced, we asked a million questions, and somehow still feel like we only scratched the surface.

From seeing firsthand how rugs are made to connecting with some incredibly talented (and passionate) people in the weaving world—it was equal parts inspiring and energizing.

And then… we came right back into real life.
Our daughter graduated from UNF this weekend (selfish parent brag incoming) cm laude with a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Neuroscience, so it’s been a beautiful kind of busy around here.

But behind the scenes we’ve been busy busy.
We found so many incredible pieces, textures, and ideas that we cannot wait to bring into both stores.

- New goods will be arriving weekly
- Both locations will be getting fresh, exciting pieces
- And we’re more inspired than ever about what’s next

This trip lit a fire in us and we’re bringing it to you!
