Well, we didn’t win Hallmark’s Merriest Christmas Town, but what a fun experience this has been!

I’m so proud that our little Versailles was chosen as an official finalist out of thousands of entries from across the country. That’s pretty special!

One thing I know for sure is that we have something really special here. I love this town, our local businesses, and the people who work so hard to make Versailles a place worth visiting and calling home.

And while we may not have won the title, I still think we have all the makings of a Hallmark Christmas movie.

Thanks for voting and going on this wild ride with us. It was super fun!

The results are in, and our official Hallmark Christmas Town winner for 2026 is...Carlinville, IL! 🎄🏆 Get ready to see a lot more of Carlinville in an upcoming Countdown to Christmas movie, and thanks to every amazing town that entered the contest! https://merriestchristmastownscontest.hallmarkchannel.com/
