Mixing old and new is the name of the game here. Though this kitchen is new construction, we wanted it to feel like it had always been there; one that could hold its own against the prized elk mounted just next door in the living room, and give her family's silver a proper stage to shine on.

Wood with a custom stain brings all that warmth and texture, layered against Carrara marble countertops and backsplash; not as precious as you'd think! Natural stone has stood the test of time and antiques beautifully.

White base cabinets keep things grounded and let the wood do the talking, while an antique runner ties it all together for that curated, collected-over-time feel we're always chasing.

This is where we startedā€¦ and letā€™s just say the cultured marble had a very different story to tell!

With a few thoughtful updates, this bathroom was transformed. Chrome plumbing fixtures (still a favorite in any bath), an iron pendant light, custom mirrors, and vintage art as well as commissioned art with custom framing bring it all together. Creating a curated, collected space. Reindeer moss is always a good idea as it adds the perfect touch of greenery (with no watering required!) and smells fabulous too.

And the heated floors? Talk about creature comfort!

While the soaring windows were part of this home's original 1994 architecture, we embraced them by keeping the design light and timeless. Custom white paint enhances the natural light, creating a bright, open feel throughout the room. Layered textures, house plants, and a treasured family tapestry add warmth, personality, and a sense of history, proving that the pieces with the most meaning are often what make a house truly feel like home.
