I tried something new today! ☀️🎨

I’ve been wanting to try sun printing, so I finally pulled out the supplies and gave it a shot.

I had a pretty good idea of what I was doing, but since it was my first time, there was definitely some experimenting involved. How long you leave it in the sun, how strong the sun is, and even which direction the sun is coming from can all make a difference in the final result.

I think it turned out pretty cool! And now I’m already thinking about what else I can make with this, which is probably how I end up with 37 new hobbies. 🤣

Life has seriously been lifing lately…this is the first time I’ve painted in weeks. It’s actually the first time I’ve even had a desire to pick up a paintbrush. We shall see if I manage to pick it up again tomorrow

Finally! We’ve got a farmer’s market! I on now I’m not a farmer, but I am a local maker who will be peddling her wares tomorrow, so come out and see me (and all of the other vendors)! I’ll have my 100% soy candles and wax melts, plus some other goodies, including build your own charm bar to accessorize your Bogg bag!

I made myself a little goal: paint every day.

And then life happened, and my brushes quietly gathered dust while everything else got loud.

Today I picked it back up again.🖌️

No dramatic comeback story. No “I never missed a day” perfection arc. Just me, my watercolor journal (handmade by moi, because I am, in fact, a paper snob), and a fresh page that didn’t care about the pause.

I’m going to start sharing my daily paintings here as a way to stay accountable and keep showing up, even when it’s messy or inconsistent or restarted for the tenth time.

If you’re starting something too, here’s your reminder: ✨you don’t have to do it perfectly. You just have to come back to it.✨
