Technique Tip for the Album kits: before cutting up each of the map pages, which correspond to the base pages, I take a moment to record the sizes and take a photograph for future reference. As a result, if I choose to create another corresponding layout utilizing the tone-on-tone or decorative Global Getaway papers, I am already aware of how to cut the mats from a single sheet. MONDAY IS THE DAY WE HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR!!!

The new Creative Memories 12" trimmer is coming Monday 3/9/26!

The cost is $64.50. The current trimmer cutting blades and mat will transfer to the new trimmer so no need to buy anything else.

What has changed?

Enhanced measurement markings (up to 1/16ths)
Wider 6.5" base (no more pulling out the arm for under 6.5")
Bolder inch dashmarks
Cm added to the pull-out arm

A wider base means more room for storing tools underneath, like your Lifter Stick & Multi Purpose Tool

It has been a few years since I created the original design for this layout based upon a geometric wind chime. I needed a last-minute make and take and so I dusted this off and did a one page variant using card stock and a piece of paper from Copper Canyon 2. I had forgotten how much I love the effect of doing my mosaic layout. If you missed the original instructions, they are still located in my reel section on this page… Look for the one with over 11,000 hits already. We had a blast last week learning how to do the cascade pages. Everyone loved learning how to make a layout which allows for massive amounts of pictures. Who wants me to set up another class offering?

I am filling in for Lisa Ward at Julie Brill’s Manassas crop on this Saturday at the Bethel Lutheran Church from 9-4.
