This one hit me hard.
During the busy week leading up to Mother’s Day, a friend reached out and asked if I could create a flower arrangement to bring comfort and joy to a wonderful woman in the final moments of her life after a long battle with cancer.
Surrounded by her loving family and friends, she took her last breath. She loved flowers, blooming gardens, and the beauty they bring. Knowing that she was surrounded by blooms as she made her journey to heaven felt especially peaceful and meaningful.
It was an honor to create something that reflected the beauty she loved, and to play a small part in such a deeply personal farewell.
