It seems that I have been a little too anxious to get back to work and open the store. I have a foot that I can barely walk on (that came out of nowhere and doesn’t seem remotely related to my back), and way too much adaptive equipment that I need to keep me upright to be able to get around in the store. I would really like to be there, but I think that I need to stay home for another few days.

Please don’t hesitate to let me know if you need anything. A phone call might not go through to me, so just send me a text.

My surgery went very well and I’m pain free for the first time in a very long time. Woo-hoo!!

I know I said that I would be at the store today, but I’m not going to make it, sorry. I’m having such a difficult time walking, that just getting to the bathroom takes Pentagon level strategic planning; like the kind that used to happen there. My big effort today is going to be getting Franklin to help me water all the giant plants on my sun porch.
Only a few more days to surgery on Monday, and a good recovery.

Needful Things will be closed this Tuesday and Wednesday. I will be open Thursday 30th, Friday 31st, and Saturday 1st August. I’m having surgery on Monday 3rd August, so the store will be closed all that week.

I’m not going to be at the store today. I had a very painful day yesterday, so I’m going to take it easy today. I’ll be back open tomorrow (Wednesday). Thanks for your understanding.

The store will be closed on Tuesday 30 June as I have to make another visit to Omaha. I’ll be open the rest of the week for regular hours.

So sorry for the late notice, but I’m having a lot of pain this morning, so I’m not going to open until 2:00 pm. Better days will come.
