Elena Marie Thacker, 89, of Quitman, AR went to be with the Lord on May 14, 2026. She was born June 2, 1936, in Texas to the late Otto Victor and Mary Esta Clark. Marie was a loving wife, mother, Granny, and GiGi; who more than anything loved spending time with her family. She was a member of Christ Alive Church at Sardis. Marie loved tending her flowers and watching the hummingbirds. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Sarah Anderson, two brothers, Roosevelt and Victor Clark, and beloved grandson, Bryan Thacker.

Marie is survived by her husband of 73 years, Marshall Ray Thacker, three children, Marshall (Debra) Thacker Jr., Sammy Thacker, and Deloris (Donnie) Stanton. Also four grandchildren, Donna (Kris), Kevin (Jevon), Jeff (Heather), and Jason (Rachel), thirteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. A brother, Henry Baldwin, sister, Karen Kay Szucs, and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 19, 2026, from 6:00-8:00PM at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier. Funeral Service will begin at 2:00PM Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at Christ Alive Church at Sardis with Brother Wes Watts officiating. Burial will follow at Central Cemetery in Quitman.

Pallbearers will be Kevin Stanton, Jeff Stanton, Brady Stanton, Conner VanKampen, Jason Thacker, and Kris Thomason. Serving as honorary pallbearer will be Ryan Perry.

Randy Van Day, 62, of Beebe, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on May 16, 2026. He was born on March 13, 1964, in Benton, Arkansas, to the late Curtis Van Howard and Amelia Day.

Randy graduated from Vilonia High School and attended Arkansas College in Batesville on a track scholarship before transferring to the University of Central Arkansas. Following college, he began a successful career in the food industry. He was the former owner of the Sawbucks restaurants in Central Arkansas and the current owner of Hillbilly Grill in El Paso, Arkansas.

Randy accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age. In his youth, he and his brother earned numerous awards showing quarter horses. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who truly enjoyed spending time outdoors with his friends.

He is survived by his mother, Amelia Day; his brother, Robert Day and wife, Angie Day; his uncles, Mark and Bruce Burdett; his nephews, Coby McDonald and Carter McDonald; his niece, Carly Day; his special cousin, Melanie Ward; and many cherished friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Curtis Van Howard, and his aunt, Suzanne Burdett Rogers.

A graveside service, officiated by Ed Sellers, will be held on Tuesday, May 19, at 2:"00 pm at Vilonia Cemetery, located at 28 Cemetery Road in Vilonia. Friends and family are welcome to attend, and visitation will follow the service. Honorary pallbearers include Coby McDonald, Carter McDonald, Mike Rogers, Michael Fogle, Joey Sullivan. Tommy Reshel, and Steve Shock.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Randy Day. Randy. He was more than just the owner of Hillbilly Grill he was a friend to many, a hardworking man, and the heart behind this place. His kindness, laughter, and love for serving the community will never be forgotten. We are incredibly thankful for all the support, prayers, and memories shared during this difficult time. Larry Lee Sellers, USN (RET.), passed away peacefully on May 14, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was 78 years old.
Larry was born on September 13, 1947, in Little Rock, Arkansas to Vestal and Essie Sellers (Mathis). He attended North Little Rock High School, where he met the love of his life, Mary Porter. Following graduation, Larry and Mary were married, and soon after he began his service in the United States Navy.
After faithfully serving his country, Larry returned home to Arkansas and began a long and dedicated career with Arkansas Electric Cooperative Corporation, where he worked for nearly 40 years as a supervisor in the winding department before retiring in 2006.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Vestal and Essie Sellers.
A man of Christian faith, Larry found joy in life’s simple blessings. He loved traveling, tending his garden, spending time at the lake, and working on his beloved old trucks. He especially enjoyed taking his 1934 truck to car shows, where he proudly earned several awards over the years. One of his greatest joys was fishing with his grandson, Ty, who was not only his fishing buddy but also his partner in mischief. Together, they kept the family laughing with their endless jokes and antics.

Above all else, Larry was a devoted and loving husband, father, and grandfather who treasured his family deeply. He and Mary shared 59 wonderful years of marriage, building a life rooted in love, faith, and unwavering devotion. He was known by those who loved him as kind, thoughtful, generous, and steady — someone whose quiet strength and caring spirit brought comfort to family and friends alike. Larry will be remembered for the warmth of his heart, his gentle nature, and the genuine care he showed to others throughout his life.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Sellers; his son, Craig Sellers (Tina); and his daughter, Wendy Sellers. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren, Allyson Sellers-Burnett (Hunter), Ty Sellers, and Kate Sellers.

A funeral service honoring Larry’s life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway. Burial will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Rest Hills Memorial Park.

Visitation will be held Monday evening, May 18, 2026, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home.

Pat Griffith, 81, of Conway, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on May 5, 2026. He was born September 28, 1944, in Vilonia to Austin and Ardena (McHenry) Griffith.
Pat graduated from Vilonia High School in 1962. Shortly thereafter, he proudly served in the United States Army from 1962 to 1965 as a member of the 82nd Airborne Division. Following his military service, Pat continued to pursue education throughout his life and earned his degree from the University of Central Arkansas in 2006.
A true jack of all trades, Pat was best known for his remarkable craftsmanship. He was an accomplished woodworker and cabinet builder whose skill and attention to detail were admired by many. Pat was also a licensed pilot, flying professionally in charter services and crop dusting.
Pat loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed floating the Cadron River. He was deeply committed to service and missions, demonstrating his faith through action by helping establish a school in the Dominican Republic, creating a lasting legacy of compassion and generosity. He was a faithful member of University Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, James and Sam Griffith; his sisters, Marie List and Estelle Miller; and his grandson, Joshua Clint Orvin.
Pat is survived by his wife, Brenda (Starr) Griffith; his daughters, Lori (Bryan) Cole and Kara (Clint) Orvin; six grandchildren, Patrick (Monica) Cole, Jordan (Neil) Holman, Landon (Brianna) Cole, Zachary Orvin, Austin Orvin, and Seth Orvin; and four great-grandchildren.
The family extends sincere gratitude to CARTI, Dr. Raja and her staff, and Alison, Allison, Alycen, Stephanie, and Katie for their compassionate care and support.
A graveside service will be held at Beryl Cemetery on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.

Curtis Estel King, 49, of Enola, AR passed away on May 1, 2026. He was born on August 10, 1976, in Knoxville, TN, to Marcia King Collins and the late Larry Gene King.

Curtis worked at Austin Ready Mix, as a commercial salesman for 20 years, and before that he was a welder. He loved to go fishing; and c**n and deer hunting. He never met a stranger and never forgot a name or a face. He loved to cook and always had to document a picture to send to his Mama.

He is preceded by his dad; his grandparents, Hubert and Gladys King and Estel and Marjorie Brown; uncle, Jerry King; and aunt, Melanie Gates.

Curtis is survived by his mother, Marcia (Chuck) Collins; life partner, Leslie Casey; sister, LeAnna (Eddie) Tindoll; uncles, Bodie (Lee Utley) King and Bobby (Denise) King; aunt, Peggy (Tommy) Browning and LeAnna Belew; aunts, Patsy Moore and Cleta King; and many loving cousins; and a host of friends turned family.

There will be a memorial service in his honor on Saturday, June 6th, 2026, at 2:00pm at Wilcox Family Funeral Home.
