Today I’m feeling incredibly grateful.
What started as a way to process my grief, navigate loss, and find moments of peace has grown into something I never could have imagined. There were days when Sweet Myla was simply an outlet for healing—a candle lit in the middle of heartache.
And now, seeing these products beautifully displayed in a boutique, I can’t help but stand in awe of what God can do.

As another sports season comes to an end, my heart is so full.
This year I watched Alianna step into a brand-new position as catcher and absolutely thrive. I saw her confidence grow, her skills sharpen, and her willingness to work hard even when it wasn’t easy.
I watched Lorenzo continue to grow not only as a soccer player, but as a young man. His maturity, determination, and love for the game have been such a joy to witness.
As parents, we spend countless hours at practices, games, tournaments, and on the sidelines cheering them on. And honestly, I wouldn’t trade it for anything. The wins are wonderful, but watching them grow in character, resilience, teamwork, and confidence means even more.
To my babies: I am so proud of you both. Whether you’re on the field or navigating life itself, I hope you always know that Mom is your biggest fan. I’ll always be here cheering you on, believing in you, and reminding you that your worth is never found in a scoreboard but in who God created you to be.
And if you’ve ever wondered why orders sometimes go out late at night or why I’m pouring candles after a long day—this is part of the reason. Sweet Myla was built around family. Between being a wife, Nurse Practitioner, a business owner, and a sports mom, these two are the reason I keep going.

A small gift can never measure a teacher’s impact... but it can say thank you.
When I was growing up, college wasn’t something that felt attainable. My family struggled financially, and like many families, survival came first. The expectation wasn’t college—it was work. How could we afford higher education when we were simply trying to make ends meet?
But along the way, I had teachers who saw something in me that I couldn’t yet see in myself.
They encouraged me. They challenged me. They pushed me to keep my grades up, helped guide me toward scholarships, and reminded me that my circumstances did not have to define my future.
Because of teachers who invested their time, wisdom, and belief in me, I eventually became a Nurse Practitioner. And today, I also have the privilege of running Sweet Myla, a business built from a dream, a lot of hard work, and the encouragement of people who believed in me.
Teachers do so much more than teach lessons. They help shape futures.
To every teacher who has ever spoken life into a student, encouraged them when they wanted to quit, or helped them see their potential—thank you. Your impact reaches far beyond the classroom.
