Great News! Our community table will officially open on Wednesday evenings beginning June 3rd.

Grab your needles, your hooks, your current needlearts projects and join us for relaxed evenings of crafting and camaraderie. All fiber crafts, all skill levels, and all WIP’s (works in progress) are welcome.

In addition to the weekly Wednesday nights, we hope you’ll participate in a fun summer KAL (knit along) featuring the Anker’s Summer Shirt by Petite Knits. This is the ultimate lightweight top-down summer tee!

Get 10% off your purchase of yarn for the project when you sign up for the KAL group. Not on-island right now? Sign up by giving us a call and you can order the yarn, too! Stop by the shop to see the finished tee and explore our palette of summer yarns.

No registration is necessary for Wednesday Knit Nights. Signup for the KAL is helpful but not strictly necessary. Come down, share some refreshments, and catch up with old and new friends!

It’s been a long, cold, snowy winter, and now we are facing Mud Season. If you are up for some inspiration, this is what a few of us have on our needles:

Dawn is working on a lace shell using the Monaco Cotton that recently arrived. Gretchen is working on the Siri cardigan, and trying to decide on buttons (wampum, horn, or maybe wood instead? Thoughts are welcome!!). In anticipation of a cross-country road trip later this month, Pam has started an Easy Fold Poncho. There’s a sample in the shop featuring Rowan’s Felted Tweed paired with KidSilk Haze. Molly, who learned how to knit less than a year ago, stopped by to show us what she’s been up to: several petite scarves, starting with the Sophie, and then playing with a few riffs on it.
