This is one of the first blankets I started selling back in 2018, and I can confidently say its still one of my favorites to make.

I've been teaching some coworkers to love crochet recently, and they're super into granny squares, which I am not. But I'm a team player, and wanted to give them a sneak peak of what a modern non-granny square could turn into when the right people to have a vision. And they were right! I am loving this color transition. I can't wait to see what the finished product looks like!

Started going through my stash of WIPs and found a stack of Not-So Granny Squares in the back. Decided to make a bag out of some of the pieces. Started with the pattern pieces from their 2022 CAL (I think), squares 2 and 4 currently make up this bag. I'll keep you posted if/when I decide to use the others in a similar way!

I don't know about you, but I go through kitchen towels CONSTANTLY. I decided a while ago to make my own, and I'll tell you what... I'm never going back. These have lasted longer, held up better, and surprisingly made drying way easier.

Don't believe me? Try them for yourself!

9 days in, the mountains are almost done, and the end is in sight! One more layer of the orange tribal pattern, then the real work begins with the border. Stay tuned to see what color I decided to go with!
