What's the difference and what fits better for your needs?

Resin Printing uses liquid resin as a base for printing. Resin 3D printing a great option for highly detailed prototypes requiring tight tolerances and smooth surfaces, such as molds, and patterns. This method of printing is a bit more costly at the exchange of providing extremely high detail.

In filiment printing a strand of material is deposited in layers to create a 3D printed object. Filament is the most widely used type of 3D printing at the consumer level. Providing high quality larger prints at a cost effective rate. These prints are perfect for utility items, cosplay and multiple other uses.

Filament prints are generally stronger than 3D resin prints. While resin prints are perfect for miniatures or display pieces.
