Our new home will be at 1124 Washington Ave!

Our last open day in the current location will be Tuesday, Nov. 25th, so come shop with us one more time and help us close this chapter with a bang! 💥🛍️

We are MOVING! 📦

The cat’s out of the bag! (Not Sienna, another cat). 🐱

2025 has been a wild, crazy and challenging year for many small businesses. For us, it has been one of the toughest years we have ever faced. While we as business owners are expected to put on an overall strong appearance, we are humans.

We’ve asked ourselves tough questions this year. Is there a place for small businesses these days? Does our store matter? Should we do something else in life? Does Waco even care to have an art supply store?

But through those tough questions, we have found a renewed sense of purpose and clarity. I believe in my heart that what we do does matter. I also believe we provide a human touch and connection that this world needs now more than ever.

Even though 2025 has been a challenging year, it’s also been a special one for us.

One fun fact is our building at 2025 Washington Ave turned 100 in the year of 2025! So we’ve always thought “maybe this will be a monumental year for us in some way.” And as it turns out, it is because we are moving!

We have loved our building at 2025 Washington Ave so much but it has also always presented challenges to us for many reasons. That being said, we are super excited about this move and can’t wait to share the journey with you! We’ll be mysterious about where the new spot will be for now, but just know that it will be closer to downtown.

This is all happening very fast and things will be a bit crazy for a while, so we are asking for your patience and understanding while we make this transition.

We are excited for this new chapter of MC Art Supplies and want you to know that we are doing this for YOU, the creative community that has shown us love, support and kindness over the years.
