A teeny tiny peak at the wedding I'm working on! Pastels have to be some of my favorite colors to work with. It'll be finished up tomorrow and delivered to the bride on Sunday.

Wood peonies are one of those wood flowers you have to paint very carefully to preserve the curl of the petals. I'll be busting out the airbrush and some of my custom pastel paint to achieve the desired look. It's very rare for me to use paint straight out of the bottle. I'm always mixing to get the perfect color, especially when it comes to weddings.

Can't wait to show you the finished product in a few days!

Wondering when the next Blushing Bark show will be? I am SO excited to share that I will be at Art in the Park in the Medina Courthouse Square on Sunday, July 19! This was an amazing show last year, and I am so excited to be back for the second year in a row!

I typically do one show a month during the summer show season, but I decided to take the month of June off this year. I am planning TONS of new and unique pieces for Art in the Park, and I want to make sure I have plenty of time to prepare. I want you to be blown away when you walk in my tent, and it takes time to achieve that!

I know that's awhile to wait, but don't worry, you can still place custom orders in the meantime. I'm also working on building inventory for some area shops. Stay tuned on that front!

Congratulations to my wonderful clients Liz and David who got married this weekend! It was a privilege to create your wedding florals, and I wish you both a lifetime of love and happiness!

I just realized this is my TENTH wedding since starting my business four years ago 🎉 Considering I work full-time on top of running Blushing Bark, I think that's a pretty big accomplishment! I am so grateful to every single one of you who trusted me with such an important milestone in your life. It is such a honor to play a small role in your big day, and I can't thank you enough for supporting my little business.

Happy Mother's Day to everyone who identifies as a mother ❤️ And if today is hard for you, know that I see you. You are strong and amazing and beautiful and deserve all the best things.

Yesterday, a customer said Happy Mother's Day and asked if I had kids. I said, "Only the furry, four-legged kind." "That counts!" she said. To that customer, thank you. That moment of recognition meant a lot to me, especially as I'm grieving the loss of one of those furry four-legged ones ❤️

For the second year in a row, Wadsworth, you blew me away! We were so busy I didn't even have a chance to take a picture of my setup and I ALWAYS do that--oops! 🤣 I mean, you guys emptied an entire shelving unit! Thank you thank you thank you!

After last year's show, I said in my thank you post, "I am so incredibly fortunate to experience this level of success in the community I call home." That is as true today as it was then. This little town is so special, and I just love living here ❤️

Extra big thanks to who hosted another amazing event! You guys work so hard for our lovely city. Thank you for all you do!

On a personal note, it has been a rough few weeks. To experience so much generosity and kindness after so much sadness means more than you know. The process of creating art for you literally got me through the week. Thank you for appreciating all that work today. It helps me keep going.
