Is it cold where you’re at?
Here’s a recipe I snapped off the back of Hill Country Fare Natural SHARP CHEDDAR CHEESE package for chipotle, blue cheese, drop biscuits, and these are good especially on a cold day
the brand Hill country fair is in San Antonio Texas distributed by Heb. Heb is the store us Texans have and Mexico has it also we love our H-E-B.
Nonstick cooking spray (I do not use non-cooking spray because it’s not good I heard, but it’s up to you, I use butter or butter and flour, or I use lard)
2 cups flour
3 teaspoons of baking powder
5 tablespoons of butter cold
Half a cup of Hillcountry, fair, shredded, sharp cheddar cheese
Half a cup of milk cold
Preheat your oven to 400°F
Spray a cookie sheet with nonstick cooking spray set aside
Combine all dry ingredients into a large mixing bowl
Cut the butter into the dry ingredients until the mixture resembles course crumbs (use pastry, blender, two knives, or finger tips)
Add cheese and milk
Stirring milk, stir enough that dough begins to hold together. Do not over mix.
Drop large spoonful on cookie sheet and baked tin 12 minutes or until the tops are golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center of the biscuit comes out clean
