enjoy this little trip down memory lane | my art journey as told through instagram screenshots haha

from 2014 (my junior year of high school) through art school, through all the weird experimental phases, to finding my style starting in 2021.

honestly this is SUCH a journey. always has been and always will. and i wanted to share it because i think itโ€™s really important to show that growth happens through MAKING. not through waiting until youโ€™re โ€œgood enoughโ€ or have โ€œfound your style.โ€ make art!!! even now, as someone who creates full time for themselves for a living, I am STILL experimenting and hoping to evolve.

every awkward phase, every random experiment, every style shift taught me something. you guys are mainly only seeing the polished version online, but behind that is YEARS of evolution.

also kinda emotional/funny seeing the growth through old insta screenshots hahaha ๐Ÿฅฒ wowww. you can even scroll waaaay down on my page and see more of the transition from around 2020 when i really started diving into digital art.

anyways. make the art. post the art. keep it to yourself. whatever you do, just make it :)
